PYRAMID™ Updates This Week, 8th August 2014
The DDS International IT team have released some minor enhancements to the PYRAMID™ Risk Management System this week. Please find below an overview of the changes.
Weekly Safety Reports and Risk Assessment Compliance Trend Reports
The weekly safety report compliance trend displays information on how compliant a location is with their weekly safety checks. The report has been updated to show a tick if any issues discovered on a weekly check have all now been resolved, if issues are found but they are still unresolved they will show a cross. The risk assessment compliance trend report shows an overview of where a location stands with their risk assessment compliance. The report would show locations with a risk assessment of a certain type and those who did have one, it would show the risk rating before and after any action has been taken. The trend report has been updated to include a tick where issues have been identified and have all been resolved or a cross where issues have been identified but are awaiting their remedial actions to be completed. The information box has also been updated to show comments, recommendations and remedial actions taken.
Reporting
When a new location reaches it’s opening or starting date within the PYRAMID™ system a report is now generated and e-mailed to the DDS consultants. The new report shows which users are set-up for access at the location so these can be checked with the client’s responsible person when supporting the new location going live. Our consultants can notify the IT team who can add, remove or update any user accounts via the PYRAMID™ system. The second report that has been integrated into the system is a report that shows all users set-up for an organisation. The report shows who are organisation contacts, location contacts and who have user accounts and which location the user account is linked to. The report also shows email addresses and mobile telephone numbers of contacts that are on the red alert recipient list. Our consultants and our clients can now use the report to notify DDS of information that needs updating within in the system.
Accidents, Major Incidents and Enforcement Visit Reporting
The system has been updated to allow any user at a location to update accidents, major incidents and enforcement visit reports. The reports could only be updated by the user who created them but sometimes the original user isn’t available. So a user with the required access can make the changes and release the reports (releasing the reports sends an e-mail report and PDF report and SMS text messages to those who are set-up to receive them).
Risk Assessments
After further requests from our European consultants, a new feature has been added to the risk assessments page for mass releasing risk assessments. Our consultants could be completing dozens of risk assessments at a time and they all require “Releasing” once they have been completed and quality checked. This was a manual process where each risk assessment would need to be released one by one so in order to make the process more efficient, the system will now automatically release all completed risk assessments at a click of a button (releasing a risk assessment will send an email report and PDF report to those who are set-up to receive them).
Health and Safety Audit and Fire Risk Assessment Reviewing Compliance Pages
The choice of audit and FRA templates available when reviewing compliance have now been colour coded and a count of how many times to the template has been used. It’s now easier to see which templates have data, which ones are live and which ones are obsolete.
Non-English Character Encoding
The PYRAMID™ system meeting minutes module and the risk assessment report pages have been updated to be compatible with non-English characters.
