The concept for our company was initiated following the Morrisons takeover of Safeway and in 2003 the original company; Due Diligence Solutions was formed. We quickly gained a reputation for being able to help clients develop, implement and manage safety compliance and 2006 saw us nominated for an Innovation Award which was quickly followed by Business of the Year Awards in 2007, 2008, and 2009.
Independent verification of what we do, and the way we work is important to us and so all of our systems were designed to comply with quality management standard ISO 9001, and ISO 45001. Both accreditations were achieved in 2008 / 2009 with ISO 14001 and ISO 22000 following on in 2012. All four have been successfully maintained ever since.
In 2011 we successfully restructured our business operation to reflect continued expansion and in 2012 relocated our new head office building, in Sittingbourne, Kent.
2014 saw DDS (International) Limited achieve NSI accreditation to BAFE SP205 for Life Safety Fire Risk Assessment – one of only a handful of companies in the UK – we are audited annually and have also successfully maintained this high standard of assessing.
We now operate across 38 countries within Europe and further afield stretching from the Falkland Islands, through to the Maldives and Seychelles.
Our customers love us and the way we do things. We don’t name drop, but will be happy to share some further information on request. We work across a wide range of industry sectors and with a wide range of businesses which include global household brands, government organisations, schools, healthcare, retailers, manufacturers, distributors, restaurants, hotels and sports venues.
Accreditation and independent verification of what we do is important to us, as we believe this demonstrates to our customers that they subscribe to an industry leading, quality management company that actually does what it commits to! Besides our quality standards we are also an accredited safety training centre, on national registers of competence (for fire and health & safety), pre-approved for government contracts, and members of many professional organisations.
2016 continues to look promising as we continue to build on the foundations of the business to date as well as increase our capability, systems and continual development of our employees, which is fundamental to the way we do things.
