The Role
You will be a key player in ensuring the safety and security of buildings and occupants, conducting comprehensive fire safety inspections and preparing risk assessment reports that are vital in preventing potential loss of life and property damage.

Location: Home-based with travel to various locations in the South of England, predominantly in Hampshire, Surrey, and Dorset. Candidates not residing in the Hampshire Area or in close commuting distance should not apply. The Role
A fire safety technician is responsible for the completion of fire safety inspections on buildings for the specific purpose of completing:
- Fire door surveys, inspections & reports,
- Fire safety plans & emergency response plans,
- Completion of audits and reports on secure information boxes,
- General maintenance on secure information boxes.
Fundamental to a fire safety technician’s role is to support the measures required within a building to prevent the loss of life and damage to property as a result of a fire, or fire related incident.
Fire safety technicians must work to strict guidelines set out by the government and relevant fire safety bodies. They must ensure that buildings and services are compliant with relevant legislation, regulations and codes of practice.
Apprentices and Trainees for this role would be strictly supervised at all times, and all reports and plans produced must be checked and validated by a competent fire safety risk assessor/consultant.
LOCATION: HOME-BASED WITH TRAVEL TO VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN THE UK – MUST RESIDE IN LONDON OR WITHIN THE M25 BOUNDARY ONLY. CANDIDATES NOT RESIDING IN THE THIS AREA OR IN CLOSE COMMUTING DISTANCE SHOULD NOT APPLY.
